"Saco Yasuma, the multi-instrumentalist, composer, and performance artist, has completed One Love, her second album as a singer-songwriter, after As It Is is Beautiful.

One Love has an upbeat flavor, with spiritual yearnings and rhythms. Combinations of vocal textures, layers of incantations. Joyous expressions, enhancing spoken gestures. In Saco’s ever-evolving musical quest of Beauty and Love, she has composed harmonious contributions to life’s sphere.

The webbings of vocalizations, languages, moods, and woven tiers create an agile density, not thick or cumbersome, one with light and airy movement. The lyrics’ messages are softened by the natural expression of her vision, the confluence of flowing currents, prayerful phrases, offerings of thankfulness to life’s wide expanse in all its forms.

One Love’s amazing ensemble of musicians and vocalists include the performance artist Sakurako Kataoka (yes, Wonder Woman herself!), whose poetic renderings of Saco’s English lyrics by her special Word-Songs are read and breathed. Kevin Nathaniel is a presenter/curator, educator, and percussionist. Barbara Sfraga is an abundantly endowed vocalist, with unique sensitivity elevates through her rapturous sound. The innovative drummer and percussionist Michael T.A. Thompson can make music from anything! And for One Love, Michael plays varieties of instruments. The One Note One Spirit choir, a gleeful ensemble, is a pool of explorers whose gliding surges, swelling crescendos, and improvisations add willowy effects to the fabric of One Love."
